Mill Creek (1850-1937)

Northampton

The Mill Creek bridge was the last covered bridge in road service in Lower Bucks County, handling traffic until it was demolished in 1937.

Built in 1850, it spanned the Mill Creek on Buck Road between Feasterville and Newtown in Northampton Township.

The Pennsylvania Department of Highways took over the bridge in 1933. It remained in service but saw increasing motor vehicle volume, leading to its eventual replacement.
